North London cash & carry operator Enzo Wholesale is to join buying group Unitas in January 2026.
The wholesaler said that Unitas’ buying power, services and support would help it achieve its ambition of growing from £40m to £100m by the end of 2027.
Operating from a 75,000 sq ft multi-temperature facility in Edmonton, Enzo has a customer base of nearly 1,500 convenience stores, foodservice outlets and hospitality venues.
The business plans to expand its product range, enhance delivery services, add new branches, and strengthen logistics and storage capabilities at its Edmonton site.
”We’re delighted to be joining Unitas,” said Enzo Wholesale MD Umit Aydemir. “The group includes some of the UK’s most ambitious and innovative wholesalers, and we’re excited to be part of such a dynamic network.
“We share Unitas’ vision for independent wholesaling and believe our collaboration will drive meaningful growth for both parties while delivering the best possible value to our customers.
“With more than two decades of experience in retail and hospitality, we founded Enzo Wholesale to combine proven operational expertise with a fresh, customer-focused approach to the wholesale sector – and we believe Unitas is the ideal partner to help us achieve our vision.”
Unitas Wholesale CEO John Kinney added: “Enzo has a clear ambition to combine traditional wholesale values with modern service excellence.
“The business is at an exciting stage in its development and stands to benefit greatly from the trading terms, promotions and marketing support, as well as the networking and relationship-building opportunities that membership of Unitas provides.”
