Four Loko said it was targeting 21 to 34-year olds with the new higher-strength range

Four Loko has unveiled a duo of higher-strength ready-to-drink cocktails under a new sub-brand called Remix.

Peach Pulse and Berry Blitza have rolled out in a 330ml resealable Tetra Pak carton (rsp: £4.50).

UK distributor Red Star Brands said the 12% abv cocktails were developed to meet growing demand for higher-strength options among 21 to 34‑year‑olds.

“Both are uncarbonated and caffeine-free for a cleaner sip and a longer drink, while the innovative Tetra Pak packaging is lightweight, strong and highly portable, ideal for on-the-go convenience,” said Ryan McCann, director at Red Star Brands. “For retailers, the striking, brightly coloured design ensures high on-shelf visibility to help attract shoppers to the fixture and maximise impulse purchases.

“With high-abv RTDs increasingly popular in nightclubs and at parties and social gatherings, we’re confident Four Loko Remix will be a big hit with consumers seeking the next big RTD experience.”

It comes after US RTD sensation Beatbox launched in the UK last autumn in a 330ml resealable Tetra Pak carton format.
