The Happy Egg Co has capitalised on the success of its first-ever frozen omelettes with the addition of two new flavours.
The free-range egg brand has expanded its range with the launch of Ham & Cheese (rsp: £2/95g) and Cheese & Tomato (rsp: £2/100g) omelettes, which have been made with 100% British free-range eggs.
Noble Foods said the new flavours have been “crafted with British milk and cheddar cheese” and are ready “in minutes from frozen”.
“The early success of our frozen omelettes showed us that shoppers want quick, feel-good meals made with high-quality ingredients they can trust,” said Anita Nutchey, head of marketing and innovation at Noble Foods. “These new flavours stay true to our brand. Great-tasting eggs from happy hens, now in even more convenient formats.”

The launches are designed to bring “more choice to those who love eggs but don’t always have the time to cook from scratch”.
More than 200 million omelettes are eaten annually in the UK, according to the company, but 60% of consumers say they find omelettes “inconvenient to make”.
It said the new flavours offer a “simple, protein-packed solution for breakfast, lunch or a quick evening meal”.
The new flavours have already launched in 150 Morrisons stores, ahead of a wider retail rollout in the coming weeks.
