Honey & Greens offers a range of lab-tested, traceable honeys

Upmarket honey startup Honey & Greens has kicked off a £200k raise to help it push into UK retail.

Valuing the business at £1.5m, the Crowdcube raise will go towards building up the company’s team, bringing on new customers and building international distribution, particularly in the Middle East.

Honey & Greens took £207k in revenue in 2025, up from around £50k the prior year, and is stocked in Holland & Barrett, Selfridges, Abel & Cole, Waitrose UAE and Spinneys UAE. It won the majority of its sales online.

“We’re already seeing some really positive interest,” said founder Idris Talle.

Talle launched the business four years ago, when he was 22, after learning how difficult it was to determine the authenticity and provenance of much of the honey on shelves.

Built around traceable sourcing and independent lab testing, the brand offers three tiers of honey across 30g mini-jar, 240g retail jar, and multi-kilo buckets for hospitality, retail and foodservice formats.

The first tier includes three regional pure honeys, British wildflower and orchard nectar, and Spanish lavender nectar. The second is a “premium active honey” positioned for its functional benefits but priced below New Zealand’s famed Manuka honey, and the third a range of infused honeys, including matcha, cinnamon, ginger, and chili.

The crowdfunder will run until the end of August.
