PZ Cussons chief executive Nigel Green is set to retire at the end of May next year after 10 years at the company’s helm. He will be succeeded by Alex Kanellis, who has been appointed deputy chief executive with immediate effect.
Green has been with PZ Cussons, which manufactures and distributes 30 toiletry and household brands including Imperial Leather and Carex, for more than 31 years.
The company said that Green had taken the decision to retire entirely at his own request, as he felt that the time had come for a change of chief executive.
Kanellis is another long-serving Cussons man. He has been a member of the board since 2003 and is currently regional director for Asia.
