Lady A red

Lady A Red is made from a blend of grenache, syrah, carignan and merlot grapes

Soho House favourite Lady A has landed an M&S listing for its red wine, just months after making its retail debut with the retailer.

Following the “overwhelming success” of the Lady A Rosé launch in M&S earlier this year, the brand has rolled a red wine into selected M&S Foodhalls (rsp: £19/75cl).

Made from a blend of grenache, syrah, carignan and merlot grapes, Lady A Red offered a rounded, elegant palate” that paired “beautifully with autumnal dishes”.

Like Lady A Rosé, its label features a butterfly artwork designed by Damien Hirst.

“After the incredible response to our rosé launch, it felt only natural to continue the story with a red that’s ever bit as elegant, fresh and full of character” said Lady A co-owner and CEO Ben Caring. “M&S has been the perfect partner. They understand great taste, style and quality and we love that our wines can now be discovered by even more people.”

Founded in 2020, Lady A’s wines are produced at Château La Coste in south east France.

The brand was created to mark the 40th birthday of Markus Anderson, Soho House’s global membership director. Anderson’s nickname of Lady A gives the wine its name.
