The new brew was designed for ‘everyday hydration’, Lucky Saint said.

Independent alcohol-free beer brand Lucky Saint has unveiled a beer made with added electrolytes.

Lime & Sea Salt Lager has launched via DTC and on TikTok Shop (rsp: £24/12x330ml). Single 330ml cans will land on Ocado from mid-May (rsp: £2.10).

The new beer was brewed with lime and “mineral-rich sea salt,” Lucky Saint said. This provided drinkers with “essential electrolytes including magnesium, potassium and sodium to support hydration and performance”, it added.

Each can contains 305mg potassium, 77mg sodium, 57mg magnesium and 40mg vitamin C.

The launch was designed to “support everyday hydration and healthier lifestyles”, and reflected “the change in how the UK is drinking”, Lucky Saint said.

Luke Boase, founder of Lucky Saint, said: “Lucky Saint’s electrolyte lager, with sodium, magnesium and potassium, is the answer to the drinker’s conundrum: how to enjoy beer and stay hydrated.

“Beer is the world’s most social drink and as drinking habits evolve, people want great taste with added benefits. I’m excited to bring drinkers a refreshing electrolyte lager for everyday hydration.”

Lime & Sea Salt Lager is the company’s fifth product, following a slew of new launches in the past two years.

In March last year, it added a 0.5% abv Lemon Lager, followed by an alcohol-free Weissbier in September.

Hazy IPA and the brewer’s flagship Unfiltered Lager make up the remainder of its range.
