Today's Group cash and carry member Dee Bee has been relaunched amid high profile promotional activity following a £1m refurbishment. The Grimsby depot, launched in the 1960s by Nisa-Today's founder Dudley Ramsden, has been "turned into a modern and convenient shopping environment". Dee Bee's trading and marketing director David Christy said: "This is a major refurbishment which will ensure we maintain our position as the leading cash and carry in the region. "The new look has been very well received by customers and sales have been extremely positive." Products have been relocated at the 80,000 sq ft depot, which now has a dedicated area for non food items, with chilled products displayed in cabinets rather than a chilled room. A new floor surface has been installed as well as new tower ends. Hoardings outside the depot invite customers to Join the Dee Bee experience'. Special reopening offers will run for a further five weeks in a bid to attract new customers to the modernised depot. {{NEWS }}
