Mars Wrigley has added Maltesers Mini Eggs and Milky Way Large Egg for Easter 2026.
Maltesers Mini Eggs include crunchy Maltesers pieces with smooth milk chocolate. They were “ideal for egg hunts, gifting and sharing”, said Mars Wrigley.
Meanwhile, Milky Way Large Egg would appeal to families and younger audiences, it added.
They will roll out widely in January 2026, joined by Galaxy Minstrels Mini Eggs, which were exclusive to Co-op this year, and Twix White XL Egg, which was exclusive to Tesco.
The range would tap the growing demand for small sharing formats and premium gifting, said Mars Wrigley, pointing out that unit sales of chocolate gifting lines were up 2.2% in the 16 weeks to 19 April 2025, compared to the previous year [NIQ].
“For Easter 2026, we’re expanding our portfolio with a lineup that combines flavour innovation and playful seasonal design,” stated Steven Waters, Easter senior brand manager at Mars Wrigley.
“From the launch of new mini eggs, which tap into the growing small sharing segment… to the traditional occasion of gifting shell eggs to friends and family in the later part of the season, the Mars Wrigley Easter portfolio allows shoppers and consumers to partake in those key Easter rituals.”
Rival Mondelez International this week unveiled a Biscoff-filled Cadbury chocolate egg for Easter 2026, featuring “irresistible Biscoff spread and crunchy biscuit pieces”.
