Morrisons has launched the “ultimate bank holiday barbecue bundle” in time for the early May bank holiday.
The Morrisons BBQ Meat Pack (rsp: £9.97/2kg) includes six burgers, eight pork sausages, four pork loin steaks and four beef sizzle steaks made with 100% British meat.
The retailer described the hand-prepared selection of British BBQ favourites as “perfect for sunny bank holiday hosting”, and saved shoppers £7.28. It can feed up to eight people for £1.24 a head.
The value deal, available until 3 May, can only be bought at Morrisons Butcher Counters. The retailer said its butchers could advise on cooking times and recipe inspiration.
“Our Market Street butchers are famed for top-quality British meat – and now they’re serving it up in a bank holiday deal that’s hard to beat,” said Morrisons fresh commercial director Amy Austin. “Packed with grill-ready burgers and sizzling steaks, this bundle is made for sharing and stacked with flavour.”
The development marks a return for the retailer’s fan-favourite Meat Packs, which have previously gone viral on social media and received praise for their value.
“It’s all about helping our shoppers fire up a proper summer barbecue with premium cuts at a seriously low price,” Austin added.
