Morrisons has announced that the sale of six stores and a distribution centre to Waitrose has been completed.
In July this year, Waitrose bought the stores at Eastbourne, Formby, Hexham, Lymington, Parkstone and Portswood, and a distribution centre at Aylesford from Morrisons.
Morrisons said that it received a total consideration of £88m from the transaction and recorded a profit on disposal of £22m.
