Nando’s has launched its popular peri-peri sauce collab with footballer Bukayo Saka into retail.
The viral Peri-Peri Saka sauce, which the brand said fans had been “begging to buy” following its debut in Nando’s restaurants in 2024, has landed in Asda and Tesco stores (rsp: £4.50/500g).
It will also roll out in Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Ocado, Morrisons and Nisa in the coming weeks.
The NPD, which is suitable for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, kosher and halal shoppers, is Nando’s first collaboration to launch in retail.
It combined “Saka’s love of smoky BBQ and tomato” with Nando’s distinctive peri-peri flavour, according to the brand.
The result was a sauce that was “sweet and fiery with a little (free) kick”, it added.
Nando’s is the third-largest table sauce supplier in the UK, behind Heinz and Hellmann’s. Sales of its sauces climbed 6.3% to £53.1m last year [NIQ 52 w/e 6 September 2025].
