Ben Duncan, Food

Duncan has worked for Nestlé for more than two decades

Nestlé has appointed Ben Duncan as managing director of its UK and Ireland food business.

Duncan joined Nestlé in 2004 at its petcare arm Purina, where he held a range of senior commercial roles across sales, marketing and category leadership in the UK and abroad.

Most recently, he served as head of marketing for Purina’s northern region from January 2024, focusing on strategy and execution for brands including Felix, Winalot and the newly launched Edward Baker.

In his new role, Duncan will lead Nestlé’s food business across the UK and Ireland, overseeing brands such as Maggi and Carnation. He takes over from Honza Dusanek, who has held the role since 2023.

“I’m really pleased to be stepping into the role of managing director and joining the brilliant team in our food business,” Duncan said. “Our trusted brands play a key role in everyday meals for families across the UK and Ireland, and I’m excited to build on that trust and put consumers at the centre of everything we do.”
