Comedian Peter Kay makes another appearance as an insensitive wedding DJ in John Smith’s new TV advertisement.
Kay reprises his role in a 30-second spot airing from Monday, which sees the tactless DJ targeting the bride’s mum as she returns to the reception hall from a trip to the toilet.
To her dismay, he announces her appearance by playing Bat Out of Hell and advises the wedding guests, “I’d give it five minutes if I were you”.
In the previous advert for the ale, Kay’s character reduced the bride to tears when he played ‘Annie I’m Not Your Daddy’ as she and her father took to the dance floor.
