Autumn is upon us. That means Britain's Cox growers resorting once again to dated, sexist and politically incorrect totty to sell their wares.
Chic pictures of a sultry girl draped over large quantities of Cox have been sent out to the press. So, is a big tv and radio campaign in the offing? No. Some posters, then? Er, no. It appears hard up growers haven't got the cash for that. It is their absurd belief that if they just send a photograph of a semi naked smouldering woman out to the press, the hacks will print it as second nature, and thereby do their marketing for them.
