Pringles and Burger King have come together to create a new limited-edition range of potato crisps.
Pringles x Burger King Bacon Double Cheese XL and Pringles x Burger King Chicken Royale will be available from April until the end of September. Both are both non-HFSS.
The range launches with a £2 PMP via wholesalers Booker and Bestway, as well as One Stop, Spar and Co-op Wholesale.
Non-PMP formats will also be available, rolling out across all major supermarkets including Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Co-op, Iceland and Tesco (rsp: TBC/185g).
To celebrate the launch of the collaboration, shoppers can redeem an exclusive buy-one-get-one-free offer in partipating Burger King restaurants. Customers who buy a Chicken Royale or Bacon Double Cheese XL can get another one for free by producing unique voucher code generated by scanning a QR code found on tubes of the limited-edition crisps.
“Burger King brings instant recognition and a broad, loyal fanbase which creates immediate cut-through at shelf,” said Pringles assistant brand activation manager Evie Pickering. “When you layer in engaging in-store support and a compelling on-pack promotion, it gives shoppers yet another reason to add to basket.
“With straight packs and £2 PMPs across channels, we’ve made it easy to stock and sell. We’re confident this collaboration available right through the summer will help our retail customers win big and score more sales than ever before.”
Suzi Hoy, head of brand and communications at Burger King UK, added: “We’ve really enjoyed partnering with Pringles to bring the flavour profile of our most-loved burgers straight to supermarket shelves and can’t wait to see the nation’s reaction. The collaboration offers fans an exciting new way to experience Burger King, with each crisp crafted to deliver a flavour journey that is unmistakably similar to the iconic Bacon Double Cheese XL and Chicken Royale.”
