Quorn has extended its no artificial ingredients range with a new Quorn Chilled Pieces as it looks to drive further growth through ”simple ingredients, strong nutritional credentials and convenient meal solutions”.

Available in Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose from this month, the line (rsp: £2.75/200g) has been made with just three ingredients: mycoprotein, rehydrated free-range egg white, and natural flavourings.

Quorn Chilled Pieces are also high in fibre and protein, delivering 5g and 14g of each respectively per 100g, as well as being low in saturated fat (0.3g per 100g) and gluten-free.

Additionally, they cook in under 10 minutes and have been designed as a “versatile alternative to chicken in midweek dishes”.

It follows the introduction of Quorn Chilled Mince earlier this year and expands the brand’s no artificial ingredients range to seven frozen and chilled SKUs.

The range had helped to recruit new and re-engage existing frozen meat-free shoppers since launching in 2025, according to Quorn, which pointed to NIQ data showing that sales increased 4.2% in value in the 24 weeks to 11 July.

Further, the launch will be supported by a partnership with nutritionist, author and podcaster Rhiannon Lambert. It will focus on “addressing confusion around meat alternatives” and show how no artificial ingredients products can make nutritious, convenient meals including Lambert’s One Pan Enchilada Rice and Hidden Veggie Lasagne.

“The response to our no artificial ingredients frozen range demonstrates that clear ingredients, strong nutritional cues and convenience resonate with shoppers,” said Quorn Foods marketing director Lucy Grogut.

“Bringing Quorn Pieces into chilled gives retailers another familiar and versatile product that answers demand for quick, nutritious meal solutions,” she added. “It also gives shoppers more choice across the store and creates a further opportunity to recruit consumers into meat-free.”
