Re:Nourish, the brand behind the UK’s first microwaveable fresh soup in a bottle, has expanded beyond soups with the launch of what it claims is the first microwaveable bottled bone broth.
Made with British chicken, it provides 20g of protein and 11g of collagen per 500g bottle, while containing 107 calories. The chilled bone broth can be microwaved in minutes and sipped on the go.
The product was developed to make “bone broth more accessible than ever”, Re:Nourish said. Its entry into bone broth aimed to appeal to “health-conscious and quality-led” consumers with a product that at “at the intersection of health, high-protein and clean-eating trends”.
The bottled broth will roll out in 300 Sainsbury’s stores, 300 Waitrose stores and Ocado from 16 September (rsp: £3.75/500g). It has a 32-day refrigerated shelf life.
“The bone broth category has been waiting for this,” said Nicci Clark, founder of Re:Nourish. “A versatile, natural bone broth that’s packed with protein and collagen, and can be sipped on the go just as easily as it can be used in recipes.
“We’ve spent years developing a format that keeps the broth genuinely fresh, genuinely nourishing, and genuinely convenient.”
A push into pasta

The brand has also made its debut in pasta sauces, rolling out a duo of products exclusively in Sainsbury’s.
Italian Tomato & Basil and Italian Tomato & Mascarpone came in response to “growing consumer demand for cleaner convenience foods”, said the brand. The sauces therefore contained “no unnecessary additives or added sugar”, it added.
They will be available in 300 Sainsbury’s stores from 16 September (rsp: £2.95/300g).
“Our customers already trust us to create fresh, flavour-packed soups using simple, quality ingredients,” said Clark. “Expanding into sauces was a natural next step, allowing us to bring the same philosophy into a category where hidden added sugars have dominated for too long.”
“We wanted a sauce range that tastes homemade, is full of real, authentic Italian flavour, and contains ingredients people recognise and feel confident about serving to their families.
Meanwhile, +Revive Super 7 Vegetable (rsp: £3.35/500g), a soup made with seven different vegetables and chickpeas, will launch in Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Ocado from 16 September. The soup is high in protein and fibre.
The major NPD push comes after a challenging year for Re:Nourish. Last week, a fire at its packaging partner Premier’s Harwich site destroyed two million of its labels and bottles, while earlier this year its manufacturing partner Fairoak Foods went into administration.
Despite those setbacks, Re:Nourish more than doubled its value sales in the past year, up 110% to £8.4m, according to NIQ data [52 w/e 8 August 2026].
