Sainsbury’s is rolling out half-price offers on selected So Organic produce with Nectar Prices in the third of four weekend promotions running throughout September.
Available from Thursday 10 September to Sunday 13 September, the half-price deals will roll out in selected supermarkets and online across organic products including Fairtrade bananas (95p with Nectar), onions (82p), kiwi (90p), and carrots (67p).
A selection of 100% British produce will also be available at half price, including celery (70p), spring onion bunch (60p), baby salad potatoes (75p), and young spinach (£1).
It marks the third consecutive weekend of half-price Nectar deals across lunchbox items, after-school snacks and midweek family meals to “make it easier to put fresh, nutritious food on the table,” the supermarket giant said.
It comes as Sainsbury’s extended its partnership with Uber Eats last month, allowing UK customers to collect Nectar points on rapid grocery deliveries.
Shoppers can collect one Nectar point for every £1 spent when ordering Sainsbury’s groceries via the Uber Eats app or online. The rollout brings rapid delivery with rewards to customers shopping from over 1,300 Sainsbury’s stores across the UK.
The integration builds on the existing capability to redeem points for Uber Vouchers, meaning customers can now collect and spend Nectar points across the entire Uber ecosystem.
