Salad chain Atis is set to launch a range of smoothies and shakes, marking its entry into the beverages category and introducing a new daypart for the business.

The new range will launch across Atis locations from 27 April and will comprise three smoothies and three shakes. Flavours will include Banana Nut, Cacao Power, Blueberry Fuel, Green Glow, Berry Boost and Club Tropic. 

The shakes will incorporate added protein, with the range priced between £6 and £7. Those who order in-store during launch week (27 April to 3 May), will receive 50% off their drink. 

The drinks launch forms part of Atis’ wider ambition to evolve customer experience through menu innovation.

“Smoothies and shakes are a natural next step for us,” said Atis co-founder Phil Honer. “The category is growing and customers want more reasons to engage with Atis beyond our core offering.

“As we continue to grow, we are focused on evolving the menu in line with how people eat and drink, while staying true to our flavour-first approach and commitment to nourishing food.”

It comes as Atis prepares to open its 17th London location at The Broadway, St James. The 3,600 sq ft restaurant is set to open at the beginning of June.

To mark the launch of the new site, the first 100 customers will receive a free bowl of their choice, while additional customers will receive 50% off all bowls and plates from 11am until 3pm throughout launch week.
