Food-to-go chain Sandwich Sandwich is to launch a selection of platters via office food delivery marketplace Just Eat for Business as corporate sandwich orders surge 33%.
Available from today (20 May) to offices across London, Sandwich Sandwich will offer a range of sharing options including sandwich platters, wrap platters, salad platters and breakfast platters, designed to suit teams of all sizes.
The partnership coincides with recent Just Eat for Business data, which found that sandwich orders rose 33% year on year in 2024.
The More Than a Meal workplace food trends report also found that British cuisine is office workers’ favourite shared meal, chosen by 52% of employees.
“We’ve always believed that great food at work shouldn’t feel like a compromise,” said Sandwich Sandwich founder Nick Kleiner.
“Joining the Just Eat for Business platform allows us to bring the Sandwich Sandwich experience to even more offices across London, delivering the same delicious hand-crafted sandwiches and flavour-packed lunches that people queue around the block for in our shops. We’re incredibly excited to be part of it.”
Just Eat for Business MD Tom Baxter added: “Sandwiches are a staple of the British working lunch, but Sandwich Sandwich has taken that familiar format and turned it into something people actively get excited about. As more businesses look for simple, high-quality ways to feed teams in the office, this partnership brings one of the UK’s most celebrated sandwich brands directly into the workplace.”
It follows the launch of Leon’s sharing salads on Just Eat for Business last July.
The healthy fast food chain offers a menu tailored specifically for workplace dining, with each salad serving up to six people. The range includes Chicken Caesar, Firecracker, Smoked Salmon & Egg, Supergreen Falafel & Hummus, and Roasted Veggies & Grains.
