Seabrook has launched a duo of Toy Story-branded lentil crisps into Asda, as part of a tie-up with Disney’s Pixar Studios.
Multipacks in Cheesy Pizza and Wild West BBQ are in stores now (rsp: £1.65/6x17g).
The HFSS-compliant lentil-based snacks were “the perfect accompaniment” to the upcoming Toy Story 5 film, Seabrook said.
“As a brand that is synonymous with laughter and fun, we know that this collaboration with Disney and Pixar will resonate with our audience, many that will have grown up watching films such as Toy Story,” said Claire Hooper, group marketing director at Seabrook owner Calbee Group UK.
“These packs offer parents a product that features fun and relatable characters adding some excitement to snack time. They are also a portion-controlled quick and easy snack that won’t spoil appetites.”
The NPD comes after Seabrook added frozen potato snacks based on its popular crisp flavours last October. The range included French Fries in Salt & Vinegar and Cheese & Onion, as well as Crinkles in Beefy and Sea Salted.
Alongside its latest licensed tie-up, Seabrook also makes Peppa Pig-branded crisps in collaboration with Hasbro.
