Two leading figures in the Scottish Grocers' Federation were awarded life memberships at its annual conference. Former chief executive Lawrie Dewar, who retired at the end of last year, was awarded the accolade after 20 years' service at the SGF. And Ross Kerr, head of trade and development of Walkers (Scotland) who is to retire in June, was also recognised for his contribution to the organisation. SGF chief executive Scott Landsburgh said: "We don't give away these awards lightly. Lawrie has made an outstanding contribution to the SGF and the trade over 47 years and Ross has been a great supporter of the SGF." {{NEWS }}
