Graham Sumeray has moved from Diageo to take up the position of managing director at Buckingham Vintners.
Sumeray worked for Diageo for eight years, latterly as managing director of its new business ventures division and previously business development director.
He said that he was joining a successful business and saw plenty of potential for growth at Buckingham Vintners, with brands Buckingham Estate, 35 South and Santerra. He also indicated that the company was on the acquisition path.
Cliff Roberson, founder and chairman, said: “We are really pleased to have attracted someone of Graham’s calibre to lead and develop the company in the next stage of its growth.”
