Key Lekkerland wants desperately" to develop its symbol group options  KeyShop for CTNs and KeyStores for c-stores, and especially with electronic sophistication. At Key Lekkerland's Key Convenience 2000 showcase this week, managing director David Rae said the group was expanding its range of electronic services. These include a Point Four EPoS system for c-stores and forecourts, with loyalty and multi-currency systems, and the eV1500 PoS terminal from telecommunication services supplier E-Vita which charges cards on site. This removes problems with prepaid phone card storage and security. The group's package also includes cash machines and an updated web site ordering system. Alcohol distribution is a growing area, helped by Pernod Ricard subsidiary BWG's takeover of three of the group's wholesalers. We've looked for the negative in this," admitted Rae. "But in terms of opportunity, it's only helped our financial clout." {{NEWS }}
