The bottle has an appealing design and label and is easy to open. The hourglass neck makes pouring smaller measures simple. The whisky has a wonderful golden colour which sets off the label well and it has a gentle nose with a straightforward, rather than a complex aroma. The whisky itself went down very well, tastes smooth and crisp, and is appealing and satisfying. I think this would appeal to those people who would be prepared to spend that bit more for a satisfying, appealing and special malt, and would probably be well received, particularly at this time of year. I don't think it is the most complex malt but it has a very rich colour, bouquet and flavour. Rating out of 25 ­ 21 {{DRINKS }}
