Radio Times is sponsoring a series of classic comedy programmes on satellite TV channel UK Gold. The deal includes bumper advertising every weekday evening until August 31, in which period the channel will be screening classic comedy shows such as the Young Ones, Blackadder and Men Behaving Badly. Radio Times readers are being asked to name their favourite comedy programme of all time, with the results published in the August 25 edition, on sale August 21. The sponsorship package culminates on September 1 when UK Gold's programming will be based on the poll results
