Telegraph signals
The Daily Telegraph is trialing LED advertising signs at 25 independent newsagents across London as part of a £2.5m outdoor ad campaign. A spokesman for Telegraph Group said the Shopfront Media LED display Adsites should attract people into shops with a headline message or promotional strapline. Signs will carry the Read a bestseller every day' strapline and highlight the content of each day's paper, and will be updated throughout the day. The campaign will run for 12 months.
UK focus
BBC Wildlife magazine is to relaunch from its June issue following its biggest ever research initiative. The magazine will have wider appeal by focusing on nature in the UK. It has been given a modern cover-to-cover redesign, and the June issue, on sale May 20, includes the first in a series of collectable, pull-out pocket field guides. Distribution is by Frontline.
Fresh Wallpaper
Style magazine Wallpaper is to launch a new look from the June issue. The relaunch has an increased emphasis on photography as well as added sections including property, beauty, grooming and art. There will also be Pin Up!, a limited edition print on perforated laminated paper that readers can remove and frame. Wallpaper claims a newsstand retail value of more than £275,000. The redesign is supported by a trade press advertising and retail activity.
Wallpaper is published by IPC media and distributed by Marketforce.
Future Family
