Tofoo & Co is expanding its range of natural plant-based proteins as the business marks its tenth anniversary.
Its new lineup is made up of Tofoo & Co Frankfurters (rsp: £2.99/180g) and Tofoo & Co Bratwurst (rsp: £3.50/200g).
High in protein with both containing 27g per 100g, they have been made with organic seitan and build on the success of Tofoo Seitan – released in 2024 – as well as the acquisition of German plant-based pioneer Topas.
“Perfect piled into a hot dog, served alongside your favourite sides or added to a warming sausage casserole,” the brand said, adding the SKUs made it “easier than ever for shoppers to enjoy natural plant-based protein”.
A third product, Tofoo & Co Silken Tofu (rsp: £2.50/300g), has also been announced. Like the Frankfurters and Bratwurst, the line is organic and high in protein (5.2g per 100g) and can be used across sweet and savoury dishes as an “easy protein boost or natural dairy replacement”.
They will launch into retailers from this month, with the Frankfurters available in Tesco and Sainsbury’s, the Bratwurst at Tesco and Sainsbury’s, and the Silken Tofu at Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.

“As consumers increasingly look beyond highly processed meat alternatives and seek out more natural sources of protein, we see a huge opportunity to make products like tofu and seitan more accessible and exciting for everyday eating,” said Tofoo & Co CEO David Knibbs.
The announcement additionally comes as Tofoo & Co continues to broaden its focus beyond tofu and – alongside a rebrand from the The Tofoo Co – follows a packaging revamp designed to enhance shelf impact and make its growing range easier to navigate.
In its tenth year, the business also launched its You Too Can Foo marketing campaign and, this summer, “hit the road” with a 27-date sampling tour.
“These new launches are a continuation of what has already been a landmark tenth year for the brand,” Knibbs continued. “Expanding our range with Frankfurters, Bratwurst and Silken Tofu is the next exciting step in our journey to become the go-to brand for natural plant-based protein”.
