US plant-based brand Tofurky has expanded its presence in UK supermarkets with a new listing in Ocado.
The move marks Tofurky’s first major UK grocery listing since 2020, when it launched into Whole Foods Market UK.
Tofurky’s Smoked Ham Style Plant-Based Deli Slices and Italian Style Chick’n Style Plant-Based Deli Slices (rsp: £3.25/85g) are a part of the initial offering.
Lightly Seasoned Plant-Based Chick’n, Tikka Masala Style Plant-Based Chick’n and Barbecue Plant-Based Chick’n (rsp: £4.25/142g) will also be available.
Tofurky said the products offered shoppers versatile, protein-rich options for sandwiches, salads and everyday meals.
“The UK has always been an important market for Tofurky, and expanding our retail presence with Ocado is an exciting milestone for the brand,” said Erin Ransom, chief growth officer at Tofurky.
Ransom added: “We’ve heard from consumers who’ve been eager to see Tofurky become more widely available again, and this listing allows us to reach more shoppers than ever before.
“We’re proud to partner with Ocado to introduce our range to new households while reconnecting with loyal fans who have been waiting for Tofurky’s return to major UK grocery.”
