Bakery giant Warburtons is celebrating 150 years in business with its “biggest ever” new products launch.
The bakery has expanded its Tiger Bread range with a Tiger Bloomer with Sourdough, and new Tiger Rolls.
The bloomer (rsp: £2) will launch exclusively in Tesco from 31 August before a wider rollout in September, while the rolls (rsp: £1.90) will hit shelves from 20 September.
Warburtons has also added Soft White Rolls (rsp: £1.90) and Thin Bagels (rsp: £1.90) to its sourdough range, called Our Dough. The former will roll out across major retailers from 31 August, while the bagels will be available from 20 September.
The innovations, which join Warburtons’ 100+ bakery portfolio, demonstrated the “continued long-term growth” of both ranges, it said.
The launches are part of a series of innovation during Warburton’s anniversary year. Earlier in 2026, the bakery unveiled its Fibre Fix range, while more recently it entered the frozen category for the first time with a duo of toasties.
Other launches this year have included Flatbreads, Pizza Crumpets, Protein Bagels and Brioche Hot Dog Rolls.
“For 150 years, our family business has been passionate about making the best quality bakery products for the nation’s families,” said Jonathan Warburton, chairman of Warburtons.
“This year, we’re celebrating that heritage by looking forward, innovating to meet the changing tastes of consumers and introducing our biggest ever raft of new products.”
The anniversary celebrations have also included a packaging refresh and the acquisition of Morrisons’ former Rathbones bakery site.
