
Wingstop UK & Ireland is to launch the ‘Big Ranch’, a new larger-format serving of its signature Ranch dip.
Available from 3 June across Wingstop restaurants in the UK and Ireland, as well as via Deliveroo, Big Ranch has been developed in response to sustained customer demand for a larger serving size.
The 9oz pot is more than four times the size of the chicken chain’s standard Ranch dip.
The launch forms part of Wingstop’s broader strategy to continue driving customer engagement through campaigns, limited-edition menu innovation and entertainment-led marketing.
To support this launch, the food-to-go chain has developed a two-part creative campaign starring actor and former professional footballer Vinnie Jones. It positions Big Ranch as an iconic arrival, tapping into existing fan anticipation that has been building across social media, Reddit communities and online forums. The campaign will run across social, digital, PR and in-store channels.
To mark the launch, Wingstop is rolling out a Big Ranch Bundle, available via Deliveroo, which offers 20 Tenders, three Large Fries, and two Big Ranch dips, designed for sharing.
“Big Ranch wasn’t our idea, it was theirs,” said Wingstop UK&I chief brand officer Dirujan Sabesan. “Our community pushed us past a million followers on TikTok and left thousands of comments asking for more, all for a product that didn’t exist yet. So, the least we could do was do it justice and hand Big Ranch to an OG like Vinnie Jones.”
It follows the launch of Popeyes UK’s “supersized” sauces in December as it launched new The Mega Dip and Big Dip ranges.
It marked a UK-first for quick-service restaurants, according to Popeyes, and followed a similar move by US chicken giant Raising Cane’s, which has become famous on social media for offering its viral Cane’s sauce in a 909ml cup.
