Dr John McAdam has joined Sara Lee as a non-executive director. McAdam is senior independent director at Sainsbury's and is a former chief executive of ICI, which he joined after 23 years with Unilever.
Cadbury has made Baroness Hogg a non-executive director and has announced it plans to further strengthen its board in the future. Hogg is also chairman of Frontier Economics, deputy chairman of the financial reporting council and non-executive director of BG Group.

Wensleydale Creamery has appointed industry expert Matthew Gribbin as non-executive chairman. Gribbin brings more than 25 years’ experience in the chilled food and dairy sector and was most recently a director at Northern Foods. Richard Clarke has been re-appointed as director.
