Andy Calder will head the sales force at Burn Stewart Distillers, following its decision to bring UK distribution of its brands from Paragon Vintners back in-house.
Calder has been with the company since 1997 when he was brought in to look after the Scottish on-trade. He was then promoted to UK regional sales manager. In 2004 he took over as regional sales director for Latin America.
In his new role as regional sales director he will look after the UK as well as North and South America.
As head of a 12-strong sales team, which recently acquired two new NAMs, he will be building the company's core whisky brands.
