Specialist quiche supplier Thomas Food Group has appointed Steve Evans to the new role of operations director.

Evans joins Thomas Food Group from Grampian Country Food Group where he was planning and logistics director at Grampian's Halls of Broxburn site in central Scotland, He has also worked for Manor Bakeries.

In his new role Evans will be responsible for the efficient running of Thomas Food Group's Meadowbrook bakery in Milton Keynes and for developing new operational procedures.

Meanwhile, Thomas Food Group has appointed Damian Breckenridge to manage the group's Morrisons account.

Breckenridge joins Thomas from seafood processor Macrae where he was an account manager based in Inverness.

He will also be involved in expanding the business through organic growth and NPD.
