Musgrave GB has restructured its sales team and appointed a new trading director in the wake of recent departures.

John Pattison, who joined as Budgens sales director in September, will take up the new role of retail director spanning both the Budgens and Londis brands after Londis sales director Scott Wharton resigned last week.

On Budgens, he will be supported by Jon Bleeze, current head of sales, who becomes operations director. On Londis, Pattison will be supported by Simon Palmer, who joins next week as operations director. Palmer has 20 years’ retail experience, most notably as Rontec’s commercial director of retail.

Musgrave has also appointed Andrew Kendall as trading director for Budgens and Londis. Kendall joins on 31 March from 2 Sisters where he is business development and innovations director.

He will replace Kenton Burchell, who was named commercial director for Conviviality Retail in November. “Andrew’s vast experience will help enhance our supplier partnerships further and continue to develop the offer for Budgens and Londis retailers,” said MD Donal Horgan. “John’s new role provides the right levels of support to Budgens and Londis retailers.”
