What was your first-ever job? Basketball coach and referee.

What was your worst job interview? A phone interview for a graduate job that was on the spot and woke me up from a fantastic sleep.

What was the first music single you bought? Hanson Mmmbop. In my defence I was 10 years old at the time.

How do you describe your job to your mates? I try not to talk to my friends too much about my job. I'm only 22 and my friends are mostly of a similar age so I run the risk of boring them if I start talking about tea.

What is the most rewarding part of your job? Gaining interest from buyers for my product and winning listings in well-recognised and established stores. It is a great feeling to see something you have created sitting on shelves and even better when people buy it and bother to take the time to call you up to tell you that they love your product.

What is the least rewarding part? The long hours that go into getting a business off the ground from a standing start and the worries that arise from running my own business. I have the attitude that nothing comes easy in this world and I am glad that it is hard work. Otherwise everyone would be doing it.

What's your nickname? Soli.

What's your favourite movie? Pulp Fiction is a great black comedy told through amusing intersecting storylines with an all-star cast.

What has been the most embarrassing moment in your life? I regularly forget to do the zipper up on my pants. It usually takes me several hours before I figure out that I've been walking around everywhere with them open.

Do you have any phobias? Big hairy moths. There is no proven theory why they're attracted to lights but for some reason they are especially attracted to my porch light and enjoy flying into my face when I come home late from working.

If you could change one thing in grocery what would it be? As a new company, waiting for review periods can be quite frustrating as sometimes they can continue for six or even 12 months. I would give a lot more control and power to the buyers to react faster and capitalise on new innovative products.

What luxury would you have on your desert island? As long as I could get a signal I would take my iPhone.

What animal best reflects your personality and why? A baby owl because I aspire to be a wise old owl in later life. I know I have a lot of learning to do on the way.
