Holzherr rose to fame on The Apprentice in 2012, making it to the final two. Although his smart shopping-list app, Whisk, failed to gain Lord Sugar’s backing, Holzherr secured £500,000 of funding from angel and VC investors after the show and got his business off the ground in January this year. Whisk currently works with more than 15 leading fmcg brands and boasts over six million impressions a month. The former Deutsche Bank employee and serial entrepreneur - he launched his first business enterprise at the age of nine selling lost golf balls back to golfers - cites Apple founder Steve Jobs as his inspiration.
