Simon George has joined Budweiser Budvar UK as its new sales director.
George boasts a long career in the drinks industry. He was most recently channel director for Magners UK dealing with wholesale, convenience and discounter operations, and has also worked for Constellation Europe, Coors and Bass.
“The Budvar brewery and its beer portfolio are world beaters,” George said. “My mission is to reflect this in our UK sales and I’m looking forward to it.”
Budvar UK CEO Tony Jennings added: “We have chosen Simon as the man to take our sales forward as a critical part of the next stage of our journey in the UK market.”
