What's it like to work for your company? Fuller's is a fantastic company to work for with a great variety of roles and opportunities for employees. We are probably best known as the brewer of the UK's leading premium ale, London Pride.

However Fuller's also operates a portfolio of 364 pubs, inns and hotels. Working for Fuller's means providing high quality in the marketplace. The strapline for London Pride for the past decade has been 'Whatever You Do, Take Pride' and that has made its way into the company consciousness.

Does the company offer any unusual benefits? An annual allowance of free beer and wine! Fuller's also provides a number of share ownership schemes for staff.

What's the training like and what qualifications can Iearn? We offer the Institute of Leadership and Management programmes at Team Leader and Introduction to First Line Management level; these courses bring together groups from across the business, Fuller's Inns and the Fuller's Beer Company. We provide senior management programmes in conjunction with Ashridge Business School, which has enabled individuals to receive personal development and work on cross-functional projects.

With more than 40% of our retail managers developed internally, our Management Trainee Development Programme has recently been revised. We have also just become an approved centre with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) to deliver the Foundation Certificate and work with WSET to send employees for further, advanced training.

Has the company won any awards? Our latest corporate award was in June when we received the JP Morgan Family Business award. The award is built around business success, family governance and social responsibility. However, our beers are always winning awards. The latest was a silver for Gales' HSB in the Strong Bitter category at the Champion Beer of Britain Awards.

Are you looking for any people right now? Our managed pubs business welcomes applications for management positions. Our tenanted pubs division is keen to discuss potential business opportunities for people wishing to run their own business with our support.

We are also working on our first graduate development programme. We'll be searching for graduates who we will help develop into senior managers. We will accept applications from October 2010 for a September 2011 start.

Are you working on anything exciting right now? Fuller's is constantly aiming for growth. We have regularly stated our desire to double the size of the retail estate (and have said so since we had about 250 pubs), but the additions need to be right for us, fitting in with our portfolio and standards.
