It's great that the British participants wanted to help, it really is. The world should have more people like them. However: 14 people flew from London to Nairobi (cost: absolute min of $14,000) to give 16 women a hand in collectively earning about $500 over the course of the following year. So maybe $30 per person benefit? Probably not the most effective help possible...
