Juices, soups and desserts company The Serious Food Company has acquired Simply Organic for an undisclosed sum.
Simply Organic, which was formed in 1998, produces a range of fresh organic soups, ready meals and pasta sauces.
The Serious Food Company said it planned to increase Simply Organics' product range and distribution.
"We admire the brand and its values of quality and purity of ingredients is very similar to our own," said Andrew Lord, managing director.
