Gin and vodka distiller G & J Greenall has appointed Tony Sharpe as managing director, replacing David Rees who retires in April 2004 after 38 years with the company.
Sharpe will focus on building partnerships with customers and distributors and developing new business channels and markets. He previously ran his own consultancy, TS Consulting. Before that he held several posts at The Coca-Coca Company, including managing director of Benelux and Denmark. He also worked for Allied Breweries for 10 years, where he performed various financial and analyst roles.
Sharpe said: “I am delighted to be taking the reins from David.”
