Baxters is adding microwaveable pots to its Soup Choices pouch range to target people lunching at work.
Launched in Tesco this month, the newcomers come in two smooth varieties - tomato & sweet basil and butternut squash, carrot & red pepper (rsp: £1.29) - and three chunky - medley of country vegetable, smoked bacon & mixed bean and spiced lentil, tomato and vegetable (rsp: £1.49).
"Baxters soups are increasingly popular as a great lunch at home," said brands controller Kerr Arthur. "However, our research shows that people often find having real soup at work is a bit of a hassle."
