Drinks producer Sandevid is launching its pre-mixed version of the classic Tinto de Verano brand into the UK off-trade. The drink, which is a carbonated blend of fruit juices and red wine, comes in two varieties: Clasico and Sabor Limon, a citrus variant.
Director Néstor Miguel Sancho, said: "Tinto de Verano is a very refreshing beverage which contains only 4.5% alcohol. It is easy to drink and has proved very successful in all the markets in which we sell it." In addition to
its core product Tinto, Sandevid makes a range of wine cocktail drinks, including sangria, rebujito and kalimotxo. It also owns the Viña Luparia wine brand, which is available in white and red variants.
Tinto de Verano will be sold in a range of sizes including 0.5 litre and 1.5 litre bottles, along with 275ml bottles, which cost £3.00 for a pack of six.
