Sussex-based off-licence chain M&O Trading has announced plans to own 90 stores within the next three years.

It currently has 49 stores, which trade under the Hartleys, The Offie and Mulberrys brands. Hartleys is targeted at more affluent areas and focused on wine, while The Offie is more focused on beer and Mulberrys is convenience-led.

It is also expanding from its Brighton stronghold into the rest of Sussex, having opened four new shops across the county this year, with another 11 planned by the end of 2013.

M&O also plans to launch a transactional website next year and bring seven exclusive “packaged for Hartleys” wines to market.
