AF Blakemore is set to roll out 30 in-store display units for Apprentice winner Alana Spencer’s Ridiculously Rich cakes and brownies business.
The self-service units, which feature images of Spencer and Apprentice star Lord Sugar, were designed by Spencer and Blakemore Design and Shopfitting.
The first unit was installed last week at Conrad Davies’ Spar store in Pwllheli, North Wales.

“I am really excited to have launched our first ever retail unit with Spar Pwllheli,” said Spencer. “We have been working with the retailer for 18 months and the cakes have always sold really well. The unit fits perfectly in their premium store and I can’t wait to see sales increase with this unit. It was a joint effort to bring this display to life, the Spar team have been so supportive.”
Lord Sugar also showed his support for the launch by tweeting an image of the self-serve unit, wishing his protégé good luck. Spencer was the show’s winner in 2016.
