Northern supermarket Booths has been trialling a click & collect service on behalf of John Lewis & Partners.
John Lewis shoppers have the option to collect their order from five Booths supermarkets.
Customers who order on johnlewis.com by 8pm can collect from a Booths trial collection store the next day after 2pm. Order will be held at the stores’ customer service desks.

They can also return items to the five stores, which are Garstang, Ilkley, Settle, St Annes; and Media City, Salford.
Orders are held in-store for seven days before they are returned to John Lewis.
A spokeswoman for Booths did not know how long the trial would run. “As far as I’m aware there aren’t any time parameters. We will see how it fares.”
Eva Cullen, head of customer fulfilment operations for John Lewis & Partners, said: “This trial with Booths is a great opportunity for us to extend our click & collect service even further, enabling us to reach even more customers in the UK.”
