Recently relaunched malt whisky Balblair is hoping to challenge the cliché of Scotland as all tartan and shortbread with its new ­campaign. Brand owner Inver House Distillers has teamed up with contemporary Scottish creative talents from fashion, design, art and literature to design a squiggly-looking bottle. Balblair will run cross-promotions and sponsorship deals, as well as commission new work from those involved, which include fashion house Mackintosh Rainwear, fabric and wallpaper designer Timorous Beasties and painter JoLoMo.
