A kosher wine made exclusively from pomegranates will go into 21 Tesco stores in time for the Jewish holiday of Passover.
Galilee Pomegranate Port Style Wine (rsp: £22) and Black Label Dessert Wine (rsp: £18) are produced by Rimon Winery, which claims to make the UK's only 100% pomegranate wine range.
"Rimon Winery shows that pomegranates can 'do' wine too and we are delighted that Tesco has seen the potential for this exciting emerging category," said Michael Dalal, MD of Rimon Winery.
